Well, What a Summer!
With the previous wet spring and so much sun, gardens are bursting with blooms.
However, that also means that some plants are 'going over'. If this is the case don't forget those 'perennial performers', the plants that go on and on to the end of Summer bringing added colour for as long as you want.
Plants like Rudbeckia, Helenium and, the bee's favourite, Monarda. Phlox, which now comes in so many colours you'll have trouble deciding; Japanese Anemones are on their way with towering blooms for the back of the border; Penstemon in all the favourite shades, Heucheras glowing in the front row and, lastly, sunny Gaillardia holding their heads high.
Summer has a long way to go yet so make sure your garden glows right to the end with our 'Perennial Performers'.
