Children's August Workshops (4 dates only)
'Christmas'
Potato Growing 11.30 to 12noon Tuesday's

all the materials and the children take their planted potatoes away to
grow and harvest in time for Christmas

Day Tour - SOLD OUT
Shrewsbury Flower Show - Saturday 14th
Tickets have now been released for Shrewsbury Flower Show 2010. Join us
for luxury coach transfer to the historic town of Shrewsbury for a day of floral
splendour combined with continuous entertainment, which makes this one of
the UK's oustanding summer events. Plus with re-admit tickets you'll be able
to visit the town with its picturesque half timbered buildings and return entry
into the showground. There are several pick-up points, including the
convenience of free parking in the grounds of the Garden Centre and you can
pre-

Rose Fragrance Festival - Sat 3rd to Sun 11th July
Enjoy a 9 day spectaculur of our stunning displays of fragrant Roses from
world renown growers...David Austin & Wharton's. Throughout the Festival
you can view our floral displays and learn more about these superb varieties
through information boards and handy leaflets.

Father's Day Special
Vintage & Classic Car Exhibition - Sunday 20th
Our second successful exhibition...
And an enjoyable day had by all. Thank you to all exhibitors for presenting your vehicles in pristine condition. This year's prizes went to Mark for Best Vintage Information (1935 Austin A35), Keith and Jan for Best Classic Information (1969 Jaguar E Type), Ray and Lynda for Best Dressed in Era of Vehicle (1965 Humber Super Snipe) as pictured above. Take a closer look at the Humber and if you can help Ray and Lynda with the history of the vehicle contact Karen on 01291 690751.

Presented by The Scotts Company expert Lark. So if you have a question
for Lark on the care of your garden pop along to the Garden Centre between
11am and 3pm.

Children's Easter Workshops
'Tom & Cherry' Tomato Growing 2pm -
FREE EVENT
This Easter the children can learn how to plant and grow from baby plants
to delicious tomotoes they can enjoy. 30 minutes of interactive fun and
we'll supply all the materials. Each child takes home their potted plant.

Easter Egg Decorating Workshop 10am - SOLD OUT
Join Chef this Easter for chocolate egg decorating. Chef will be helping the
children create a beautfully decorated egg, which will be wrapped to take
home as a eggstra special Easter treat. And after all that hard work the
children can sit down and enjoy homemade cookies!

Chicken Hunt - starts Good Friday (1st April)
In-store competition for the children. Simply go hunt the chicken, answer the questions and complete the rest at home...easy!
2 great prizes for 2 lucky winners - children's activity pack to amuse and entertain.
Guidelines - For children up to the age of 14 years. Closing date
for completed entry forms Friday 9th April. Original entry forms only. Judges decision final. Winners notified by telephone 16th April.
